JIO Team was out again on Sunday February 16, 2020 to proudly carry colors of Highway 2000 East-West, have fun, enjoy the camaraderie, and all while giving back to a worthy cause during its 22nd staging of the Sigma Corporate Run/Walk.
The goal of this year was raising funds for the Savanna-La-Mar Hospital, the Bustamante Hospital for Children Special Care Nursery and the Clifton Boys’ Home, which will benefit from over J$55M to especially enhance health and child-related services.
We wish to express our gratitude to all participants from our teams, including the National Road Operating & Constructing Company (NROCC) who partnered with us this year, and the wider Jamaica’s business community for coming out, giving their time and energy to this successful and inspiring event.
Special big-up to our champion Shae-Maurice Robinson who finished in under 30 minutes (24:54) and closely followed by our champion last year Michael Smith (26:04). Our ladies first to reach the booth this year were Vanesa McLaughlin, Leonie Bent, at a time of 45:26.
Great job to you all! And see you next year!
